Which mutual fund to invest in for 5 to 7 years period

I have FD worth 10,00,000 which are maturing in January. I would like to invest same money for long term (5 - 7 years) in Mutual Fund. Please let me know which MF I should opt for to get good returns over the long term?

What should be the initial investment amount if I have to draw Rs. 50000 a month after a year

I am 69 years old and like to have a monthly fund of Rs. 50,000 after one year by STP from debt fund to balance fund to avoid long term capital gain tax. Considering the annual return of the existing balance fund and the inflation rate of 5% what would be the initial debt fund corpus required to get the same fund flow of Rs.50,000/- for 10 years after a lapse of initial one year?

Which one of the three existing SIPs should I close

I have an investment in the HDFC Top 200 Fund, UTI MNC Fund and JM Multi Strategy Fund since 2008. Now I want to close any one fund but I can not decided which fund is closeable. I am 26 year old married women I would like to have your opinion on my portfolio which is as following:- 1) DSPBR Micro Cap Fund - Rs. 2000pm, 2) Franklin India Prima Plus Growth – 2000pm, 3) L&T India prudence fund - Growth - 2000pm.
