Whether Axis Midcap fund is good to invest

For the time being you can avoid AXIS Mid Cap Fund as we found that the fund performance is significantly lagging compared to its peer group.

The fund is unable to even beat the benchmark and category returns for the period - YTD, 1 month, 3 month, 1 year and 3 year period (source: Valueresearch data as on 12/9/2016)

The AXIS Mid Cap Fund rating is also low - It has got Valueresearch 2 Star rating and CRISIL has given it Rank-5 which is the lowest rank (data as at end September 2016)
