I want to start SIP of Rs 5,000 monthly for minimum 15 years. Which fund should I select? (except SBI Bluechip & Mirae Emerging Bluechip) I prefer diversified equity and small & mid cap fund?

Is my fund selection good for STP for the long term

First of all let me congratulate for your site and providing very useful tips on mutual funds. Regarding my query I am planning to invest lump sum amount of rupees 2 lakhs on following STP plans. 1. Birla Sun Life Front Line Equity Fund Direct from Birla Sun Life Cash Plus Debt Fund Rs 100000, 2. SBI Magnum Multiplier Fund Direct from SBI Insta Cash Fund for Rs 100000. So, please suggest me for above funds selection is okay or not. My risk may be at medium level and investment horizon will be more than 10 years?

I was just doing Google and I came across with your website. Hope you will able to help and clear my doubt. I am Akbar from Hyderabad, and living with, Mom and Wife with two kids (Son age 2 years and daughter age 7 month). Am looking for best performing mutual fund for investment for my kids future. My current financial status is that I have a home loan and personal loan with total EMI is Rs. 10,000 PM. No credit card payment pending all clear. My take home salary is Rs. 27800. By now understand my financial status, Currently I am planning to invest at least Rs. 1000 each of them (my kids). And slowly increase every year the amount depending on my salary increment.
