If I invest Rs. 40,00,000 in ICICI Prudential Balance Fund, what shall I get monthly dividend? If 1 crore Rs, invested, what monthly dividend shall I get? Is it tax free? My monthly need is Rs. 30,000?
ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund has a good track record of paying monthly dividends since June 2015. Based on yield of 0.96% for the dividend declared in the last month, the expected dividend amount is Rs 38,400 from an investment of Rs 40 Lakhs.

However, the above is just an assumption or indication of the expected monthly dividend amount from this fund. However, the actual dividend amount will depend on the NAV at which you are buying the units and also the rate at which the future dividends of this fund are declared.
Please also note that dividends in any mutual fund scheme is not assured, neither, the quantum of dividend nor the date of dividend or frequency.
However, the other way to get consistent regular returns from your investment is drawing a fixed amount from your investments through SWP. As your monthly need is Rs 30,000, you can invest Rs 40 Lakhs or more in lump sum and can draw the fixed amount of Rs 30,000 every month on a fixed date through SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan)
