Which fund should we do SWP for regular income for my parents

I am a govt. employee, age 34 with two kids of age 09 and 10 and dependent parents. No liability of loans. I plan to invest 500000 in a SWP for parents monthly expenses. Suggest some blue chip funds in equities or balanced with past performance?

Glad to hear that you want to opt for SWP route for providing regular income to your parents. Based on your request, we are suggesting some scheme names from balanced and large cap category. However, keep in mid that your investment horizon should be minimum 5 years as you are investing in balanced and/ or equity funds.

ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund

HDFC Balanced Fund

SBI Magnum Balanced Fund

SBI Bluechip Fund

Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund

Kotak Select Focus Fund

For investing Rs 5 Lakhs, you can choose any 2-3 funds from the above and invest.

Hope you find the above useful. Thanks for writing to Advisorkhoj.
