As your investment horizon is 10 years you can go with investing in lump sum. However, which funds to invest in is a result of how much risk you can take and what is the investment goal etc. You have not mentioned that!

Therefore, the broad guideline is that if you can take moderately high risk, you can invest in large cap or balanced funds. In case you are capable of taking higher risk, do invest in equity diversified funds.

The funds that you can consider to invest in, are 1) Large Cap - SBI Bluechip Fund, Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund or Reliance Top 200 Fund 2) Balanced Funds - ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund, SBI Magnum Balanced Fund, HDFC Balanced Fund or DSP BlackRock Balanced Fund. 3) Diversified Equity Funds - Birla Sun Life Equity Fund, SBI Magnum Multi-Cap Fund, Kotak Select Focus Fund and Franklin India High Growth Companies Fund.

Hope the above helps! Thanks for writing to Advisorkhoj !!
