Can you suggest mutual funds for moderately high return

I really appreciate for your wonderful blog and regular writings which is most useful for investors like me who are new in investment field. I'm one regular reader of your blog and question - answer sections. Sir, I have moderately high risk profile and want to invest for a lump sum amount of 10 lakhs for next 10 years. Please advise and suggest me for a mixed caps fund profile with a growth of money and moderately high return. Suggest me such funds where I should invest. Thanks once again for your wonderful effort?

Thanks for the kind words about Advisorkhoj and we are glad to note that you are a regular reader of our blog and found it useful.

As your risk profile is moderately high, you can invest in a mix of balanced funds and large cap funds for your long term investment needs.Following could be good choices for you -

From Balanced Funds, you can consider any two funds out of ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund, DSP BlackRock Balanced Fund, Reliance Regular Savings Fund Balanced option and HDFC Balanced Fund.

From Large Cap funds, again you can consider any two funds out of SBI Bluechip Fund, Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity Fund and Kotak Select Focus Fund.

You can expect around 12% annual return from these funds provided you remain invested in these funds for 5+ years. As your investment horizon is 10 years, you are good to go with these funds.

Hope you find the above suggestions useful. Thanks again.
