How to find historical NAVs and Scheme performances of various mutual fund schemes?
Does SBI Magnum Mid Cap & SBI Magnum Balanced Fund has the lock in period of 3 years or I can switch out any time. Are these funds really good?
I would like to regularly start investing in Mutual funds from April 1st 2017 onwards. I keep aside some amount aside for urgent requirements. If this amount I park in SBI SAVINGS FUND & similar funds in their daily/weekly/monthly dividend schemes, will the dividend earned will be taxable? I may not require the invested amount or the portion of that amount atleast for a month or more till the need to redeem the fund. My objective is to avoid the tax on the interest that I have to pay. Please guide me about the tax liabilities on redemptions of such funds so that I start putting my surplus amount in such funds every month and build up a portfolio?

I've seen your website very lately and impressed with the data and tools provided. I immediately signed up to use it to the fullest. Double thumbs-up keep up the good work. I'm looking for this kind of site for quite long time. I'm planning to invest lump sum amount in monthly dividend paying Equity fund. I'm in search good fund which pays dividend consistently, better than bank or post office FD, close to 12 to 15%. Kindly let me know your suggestion on my preference?
I was surprised to see the reply mail for my query. Thanks a lot guys. I wish you guys all the best for successful in business. Actually, this investment advise is for one of the customer. His son-in-law (Aged 35 years) was working in reputed Software company and passed-away on October 2016. His family received an insurance amount and Company's final settlement of around 50L. He was surviving with Wife and 2 kids(8 and 2 years old). He was the only bread earner in his family. My customer asked a favour of some good returns deposit/investment. Following are the suggestion given - 1. 4.5L in post office (MIS) scheme which is earning 7.7%, 2. Sukanya Samridhi Scheme for his grand-daughter for an amount of 50K per annum, 3. SIP DSP Black Rock micro cap fund for monthly Rs. 5000, 4. I suggested him to go for 25L in monthly dividend scheme and invest in 5 funds, He wants Rs. 45000/month in deposit and investments. So, I need some suggestions on 4th point and any other suggestions are highly welcomed. Bifurcating to 4 or 5 different buckets with Min to Max risk funds in Monthly dividend funds. Any input from your side is highly appreciable and helpful to his family?
