Will switching to direct plans have exit load and tax implications

I had switched in from earlier plan to UTI Mid Cap and Franklin Prima Fund - Regular plans in July 2016. Can I switch online now to Direct Plan without any exit load or Income Tax liability?

Please note that switching funds from one plan to another will attract applicable exit loads (if any) as in this case the NAV of the fund changes. Please note that switching funds from one plan to the other is treated as redemptions and, therefore, tax implications will be same as that of redemptions.
