I would like your advice on investing in ELSS via SIP as per points below: My risk profile: Moderately high; Age: 26 years; Investment Tenure: 20+ years with 5% annual increase; SIP Amount: 5,000-10,000. I am planning to split the SIP amount into 2 ELSS funds. Please advice?
Thanks for the kind words about Advisorkhoj! Glad to note that you liked our tools and articles and found that it is helping investors like you :)
You can spilt the SIP funds between two ELSS schemes - DSP BlackRock Tax Saver Fund and Reliance Tax Saver (ELSS) Fund.
With annual increase of 5% on a SIP of Rs 5,000 for 20 years, you can expect a corpus of Rs 69 Lakhs against your investment of Rs 12 Lakhs. And for a SIP of Rs 10,000 for the same period, the corpus could be around Rs 1 Crore 38 Lakhs against your investment of Rs 24 Lakhs. These figures have been arrived assuming annual return of 12.5% over 20 years. You can use this tool to know more about step up SIPs with annual increase https://www.advisorkhoj.com/tools-and-calculators/sip-with-annual-increase
