Where is the difference between SBI Bluechip Fund & DSPBR Small Mid Cap Fund

I want to invest Rs. 5,000 per month. Which one will be good for me? SBI Blue-chip Fund & DSP BlackRock Mutual Fund (Equity - Small & Mid Cap Fund)?

Glad to know that you want to invest in Mutual Fund SIPs. However, the two funds you have chosen cannot be compared as they belong to different fund categories.

SBI Bluechip Fund is a large cap fund whereas DSP BlackRock small and midcap fund is a midcap fund. As the categories are different the two funds cannot be compared. Having said that you may note that among equity funds, large cap funds are the least risky whereas midcap funds are the most risky.

We are afraid we cannot compare the two funds and give you any suggestion.
