What is the difference between debt funds and ultra short term funds

Is there any deference between debt fund and ultra short term debt fund. If they have any difference, then please suggest which one is good?

Please note that Ultra Short Term Debt Funds are also debt funds. Having said that, there are many kind of debt funds and each kind has different characteristics.

For example - liquid funds are also debt fund but suitable for short term investment purpose or for creating an emergency corpus, similarly long term debt funds or popularly know as Income funds can be an ideal replacement for those doing fixed deposits with an investment horizon of 1-3 years and so on.
