Should I invest in Balanced Fund as I am aged 63

I am age 63, can I invest 1 lakh lumpsum in balanced fund open ended for another three years, or can you please suggest which fund I invest this in my aged?

Generally speaking, if you are a moderately high risk taker, you can invest your lump sum amount in balanced funds with a horizon of 3-5 years.
