Should I continue my investments in Tata Balanced Fund

Tata Balanced Fund was a top performing fund in the recent past. But as you have rightly mentioned the fund lost its sheen as it could not beat even the category return in the last 1 and 3 year (as on 14/09/2017) period. The rating given to this fund by various research agencies also went down in the recent past.

We find that 4 top performing funds in the balanced funds category - ICICI Prudential Balanced Fund, HDFC Balanced Fund, SBI Magnum Balanced Fund and Aditya Birla Sun Life Balanced 95 Fund - are better rated funds with superior performance over Tata Balanced Fund in the last 1, 3 and 5 year period.

You may change Tata Balanced Fund with any one of the above mentioned 4 funds and remain invested for 5 years or so.
