How to redeem LNT Infrastructure Bonds

With regards to your above query, please note the following –

1. In your query, you have not mentioned the L&T Infra Bond Series, therefore, we are unable to provide you with the exact buy back dates etc.

2. Please also note that these tax saving bonds were issued with tenure of 10 years, but buy back options were also provided after 5 years and 7 years. Please check this link http://www.ltinfra.com/media... to know the complete details of buy back dates and features of each and every bond series issued by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited.

3. Please also check the last communication http://www.ltinfra.com/media... issued by L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, with regards to buy back of Series 1 and 2 of 2011-2012. I think, your friend must have bought these bonds under any one out of these two series. The buy back amount for these two series would be paid on March 24, 2017 but unfortunately the last date for applying for these buy backs are now over - The last date was December 24, 2016.

5. Your friend can now apply for buy back at the end of the 7 year and for that he should keep a watch on the notice issued by the registrars.
