Can I invest Rs 1 Lakh in SBI Magnum for quarterly dividend

I am a senior citizen. Want to invest 1 Lakh in an open ended MF which gives quarterly dividend and can also withdraw the MF when needed. Some body has suggested SBI Magnum. Is it okay?

In your query you have not mentioned the fund name and has only mention SBI Magnum. Please note that there are a number of funds from SBI Mutual Fund stable starting with SBI Magnum.
