Can you analyze the portfolio risk of my funds

I have SIP of 200 each in Franklin High Growth Fund, Franklin Prima Fund, Smaller Companies Fund, DSP Mid and Small Cap Fund, Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund and BSL MNC Fund - all in Direct - Growth Plan. Please can you analyse how much risky is the portfolio and market cap percentage in terms of large, mid and small?

You have invested in mid & small cap funds, diversified equity fund and a thematic fund. These funds carry moderately high to high risk and suitable for at least 5 years investment horizon if your risk profile is high.

If you want to know the risk of your funds then knowing the standard deviation can be a good idea. Among 4 of your funds, Franklin India High Growth Companies Fund and DSP BlackRock Small and Mid Cap carry the highest risk as the standard deviation of these funds are higher than that of category standard deviation.

Mirae Asset Emerging Bluechip Fund, though a mid and small cap fund, is the least risky in the portfolio as standard deviation is lower than that of the category. Birla Sun Life MNC Fund is somewhat as risky as the other funds in the category as standard deviation is almost same as that of the category.

If you want to analyze risk of your funds further, you may refer these two tools on our website - https://www.advisorkhoj.com/mutual-funds... AND https://www.advisorkhoj.com/mutual-funds...

With regards to analyzing the funds based on market capitalization of the stocks in the respective portfolio, we are unable to provide that information as we do not have a tool to do so.

Thanks for writing to Advisorkhoj
