Union Mutual Fund launches Union Short Duration Fund

Highlights of the NFO:

• Scheme type - An open-ended short-term debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 1 years to 3 years. Please refer Page No. 20 of the SID for concept of Macaulay Duration. A high interest rate risk and moderate credit risk


• Investment objective – The scheme is an actively managed scheme with an investment objective to provide reasonable returns and liquidity by investing in a range of debt and money market instruments while maintaining the balance of safety, liquidity and returns. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.


• Product suitability – This product is suitable for investors who are seeking short term income generation and capital appreciation solution. A debt fund that aims to generate income by investing in a range of debt and money market instruments of various maturities.


• Minimum Application Amount – First investment is Rs. 1,000/- and in multiples of Rs. 1/- thereafter


• Plan/ Options available – Regular Plan and Direct Plan having Growth Option & Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) Option (Reinvestment of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal Option, Payout of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal Option and Transfer of Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal Plan).
