Franklin Templeton Investments changes name of some of the funds

With effect from June 30, 2014, Franklin Templeton Investments is changing the names of some of the Franklin Templeton India funds. As per communication from the company, this is purely a name change - there will be no change to the investment strategy or the way in which the funds are managed. The intention of the name change is to ensure that the funds are similarly branded to other products across Franklin Templeton Investments.

Over the past decade, Franklin Templeton has broadened its capabilities extensively by adding new investment platforms and strategies. Our new naming approach is designed to enable you to search and find our funds more easily, as well as enhance your understanding of our diverse product line-up.

The name of the following schemes stands changed with effect from June 30, 2014:
