How to withdraw money from unit linked insurance plan

You have not mentioned which is the unit linked insurance plan you have bought from HDFC Standard Life. Generally, you can draw partially or fully from 6^th years onwards after paying minimum 5 annual premiums. As you have bought the policy in 2006 therefore, you should be able to draw partially from it.

However, you should contact HDFC Standard Life Insurance and know the exact terms of the ULIP plan that you have taken, before redeeming from the plan.
