In conversation with Mr Vinay Paharia CIO Mutual Funds & Mr Vivek Sharma Senior Fund Manager Equity with PGIM India Asset Management

Mr. Vinay Paharia is Chief Investment Officer at PGIM India AMC, overseeing equities and fixed income fund management. He joined PGIM India AMC in January 2023.

Vinay is an industry veteran with nearly two decades of equity research and fund management experience. In his previous assignment, Vinay served as the CIO for Union Asset Management Company. Prior to this, he has worked with Invesco Asset Management Company as Fund Manager – Equity.

Vinay manages some of our flagship schemes like PGIM India Flexi Cap Fund, PGIM India Large Cap Fund, PGIM India Small Cap Fund, PGIM India Midcap Opportunities Fund, PGIM India ELSS Tax Saver Fund, PGIM India Large and Mid Cap Fund, and PGIM India Retirement Fund and PGIM India Balanced Advantage Fund.

Vinay has completed his B.Com. and M.M.S.

Mr. Vivek Sharma has over 16 years of experience in Indian financial markets, primarily in equity research. Vivek joined PGIM India AMC in 2017 as Equity Analyst and currently serves as Fund Manager (Equity). He co-manages PGIM India Small Cap Fund, PGIM India ELSS Tax Saver Fund, PGIM India Large Cap Fund, PGIM India Mid Cap Opportunities Fund and PGIM India Hybrid Equity Fund.

Vivek started his career with JP Morgan in its investment banking division in October 2006. Subsequently, he joined ICICI Securities as Equity Analyst in 2010.

Vivek is PGDM - Finance from Symbiosis Centre For Management and HRD. He is skilled in Portfolio Management, Equity Research, Valuation, ESG, Risk Management, and Corporate Finance.
